&nbsp; The Scottsbluff Police Department will be participating in the Selective Overtime Enforcement “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign”. The campaign will be active from now thru January 1st&nbsp;2024.

This campaign will help to reduce alcohol related fatal and serious injury crashes. Officers will be conducting high visibility enforcement during this time.&nbsp;

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that, on average, 32 people in the United States die every day in drunk-driving crashes. 

In Nebraska, there are an average of more than 70 alcohol-related fatalities each year.&nbsp;The overtime enforcement is funded by a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation-Highway Safety Office.&nbsp;&nbsp;
