ALLIANCE, Neb. - After six-straight years of hoops in Rapid City, the Lakota All Star Games will have a change of venue for the seventh iteration of the basketball event.
The Lakota All Star Games will take place at the Chicoine Center at Chadron State College on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Doors will open at 10 a.m. MT for this annual basketball event that brings together some of the top young hoopers from around the Midwest for a set of five all star games.
Evelyn Old Coyote will be representing Chadron State in the women's college basketball all star game scheduled for 12:30 p.m. MT. Josie Hill of USD, who helped her team to the WNIT Fab Four, will also be playing in the women's college all star game that day. Later in the afternoon, Kylie Goings from Gordon-Rushville and Hunter Poor Bear of Minatare will be playing in the high school girls basketball all star game at 3:30 p.m. MT.
A pair of future University of South Dakota players will also put their skills on display in Chadron for this event. Pine Ridge superstar, Marvin Richard III, will compete in the high school boys all star game, after he set a new single game scoring record earlier this season with 73 points. Ashlan Carlow-Blount, who is also signed with USD, is scheduled to join Richard III on the court for their respective games on April 18.
According to the Lakota All Star Games website, tickets will be sold at the door, and prices will be $10 for students and $15 for adults. The website also says admission will be cash only and is good for all five games during the day. There is an ATM located nearby at the CSC Student Center, if needed.
