Nebraska can be known for its unforgiving winters, and families experiencing financial distress often find it difficult to afford warm clothing for their children, especially enough warm socks.
Imagine going to work without warm socks, yet many children from low-income families head to their preschool without any socks at all. Cold wet feet are not only uncomfortable, but can negatively impact a child’s learning.
Please help Northwest Community Action Partnership ensure that infants and pre-school children by donating a few pairs of warm socks. These socks will find their way to kids in need and you will warm their little hearts by warming their little feet.
