By Lorie Reeh, Alley Cat Campus
My name is Lorie Reeh, I am the founder and president of Alley Cat Campus. We are a 501c TNR program and cat sanctuary.
TNR is trap/neuter/return for community cats without an owner. Often, a caring person see's a hungry cat and starts feeding them, then soon there are kitten's.
We follow worldwide protocol provided by Alley Cat Allies. The veterinarian tips the left ear so if that cat is trapped again, we know it has already been altered and release it. We have trapped and altered over 1'200 cats in Alliance since we started in October of 2015. Think of how many unwanted kittens that prevented. We feel this is a great service to the community and the cats. We work off tax deductible donations.
We currently have a fundraiser selling custom designed shirts from Studio A on Box Butte Ave in Alliance.
Our Facebook page is http://facebook.com/alleycatcampus.
Please consider joining and watch what all goes on with the Alley Cat Campus cats. Our fundraiser and QR code is posted on our page too.
All donations are appreciated and only go to the care of the cats. Everyone involved is a volunteer.
We also have a wish list at Chewy.com under shelter accounts, search Alliance, Ne or our zip 69301 and Alley Cat Campus will come up. Thank you for supporting our mission to alter street cats and provide shelter for displaced TNR cats.
