Alliance, NE — Alliance High School is excited to announce plans for Homecoming 2026, celebrating this year’s theme, “Night in Rio.” A full week of events and activities will bring together students, families, alumni, and the community to honor Bulldog pride. Homecoming activities will be held Monday, September 28 through Saturday, October 3.
Highlights of the week include:
- Coronation – The community is invited to attend coronation at Bulldog Stadium on Monday, September 28, immediately following the junior varsity football game against Ogallala.
- Parade/Burning of the A – On Thursday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m., the Homecoming parade will commence, beginning at 4th and Box Butte and ending at 14th and Box Butte. Following the parade, a short program and the traditional Burning of the A will take place at Bulldog Stadium.
- Football Game – At 7:00 pm on Friday, October 2, the Bulldogs will take on Chadron in the Homecoming football game.
- AHS Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony - Saturday, October 3 at 3:00 pm in the Alliance High School Performing Arts Center.
- Homecoming Dance – Alliance High School students will wrap up the week with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 3 from 8:00–11:00 p.m. in the AHS Commons.
Alliance High School invites the entire community to come together in celebrating Homecoming 2026: Night in Rio and show support for our students throughout the week.
Community groups wishing to take part in the Homecoming Parade are encouraged to contact Sherrye Belford (sherrye.belford@alliancebulldogs.org) or Katie Ackerman (katie.ackerman@alliancebulldogs.org) to be placed in the lineup.
