Kennedy Quinn was so eager to meet her family that she Miss Kennedy looked at her family with so much love and adoration and we all arrived over a month early and took everyone's breath away. Although Kennedy Quinn was in the NICU for weeks, you could often find Natosha there caring for her with a ton of snuggles and singing songs from both the Moana and Encanto soundtracks. Her family soon started calling her their “Wittle Pwincess”. Everyone could tell she adored Disney movies by her cooing, kicking, and squirming when she heard or seen them. Her mommy frequently gave her some spa worthy days with nice warm bubbly baths, putting lotion on her soft skin, grooming her nails, and dressing her in the cutest outfits. Although my darling daughter was not a fan of bows and headbands, we were slowly making progress with getting her to wear them to be just like mommy.
Her second cousin Kylie, would often visit her in the NICU to dote on Kennedy. On certain occasions, Kylie would step in to make sure her baby cousin was receiving the care that she deserved. Even before coming home Kennedy knew, she was the matriarch of our family. Her brothers Connor and Kaiden, both her parents, and even the dogs would come running even if she made just a little squeak. She had her whole family wrapped around her sticky little fingers, but especially her daddy. Her daddy loved her so much and went from being worried about having a baby girl to complete admiration as soon as she was born, she was daddy’s little angel.
Kennedy was a summer babe for sure! She loved her special shaded floaty and loved spending time in the pool with her brothers and mommy. She often found floating in the pool so relaxing that she would nap in her floaty thing, given that the boys didn’t get too wild and splash her or mommy wouldn’t put too much water on her head to keep her cool (this would often make her upset for a brief moment.) “Lil mama" truly loved spending time with her daddy whether it was outside being his “baseball Pwincess” or napping it out inside, being his little “napping buddy”. Kennedy loved being outside and getting some fresh air, whether it was swinging watching Grandma Beauchamp and mommy do yard work or sitting propped up watching her wild brothers. When she wasn’t content outside in her swing, she enjoyed being held in her baby carrier so she could be close to her mama.
Miss Kennedy looked at her family with so much love and adoration and we all looked back at her with so much more. Our baby girl was loved beyond measure by blood relatives and some family not created by blood. She was very loved and had so many people looking out for her. It is an absolute tragedy that her presence was only so brief in this lifetime. Her impact on her family and everyone she came into contact with will never be forgotten. We will always cherish the time we had with you miss Kennedy, and we will hold your memory in our hearts until the day we meet again, Kennedy Quinn Stanley.
A memorial service will be on Friday, August 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel.
Her family would invite everyone attending to dress in colorful casual attire.
