ALLIANCE, Neb. — The Alliance Police Department is pleased to announce that three new patrol vehicles were officially placed into service today, strengthening the department’s ability to provide safe, effective and responsive law enforcement services to the community.

The new vehicles are 2026 Dodge Durango Police Pursuit Vehicles, specifically designed and equipped for modern policing operations. Each unit includes two-way radios, emergency lighting and siren systems, mobile data laptops, mobile printers and scanners and in-car camera systems.

The vehicles are also equipped with both front and rear radar systems, secure weapon mounting systems, prisoner transport systems and push bumpers to support a wide range of operational needs.

Vehicle upfitting was completed by OnScene Dynamics of Rapid City, South Dakota, ensuring each unit meets high standards for functionality and officer safety. Vehicle decals were provided and installed by Cozad Signs of Gering, Nebraska.

“These new patrol units represent a continued investment in officer safety, operational efficiency and our commitment to serving the Alliance community,” said Chief David Leavitt.

“I would also like to thank the Mayor and City Council for their continued support of the department and their commitment to ensuring our officers have the tools they need to do the job right.”

The addition of these vehicles also allows the department to replace several high-mileage units that have become increasingly unreliable and costly to maintain. Phasing out aging vehicles improves fleet dependability, enhances officer safety and reduces long-term maintenance expenses.

The Alliance Police Department remains committed to maintaining a modern, well-equipped fleet to better serve the community.
