Margaret “Margy” Ann Schafer, 93, of Gering, Nebraska, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Heritage Estates in Gering. Cremation has taken place and services will be announced at a later date. Survivors include her children, Susan Hall of Sidney, NE, Ronda Kruse of Hewitt, TX, Mark (Bethany) Schafer of Berkeley, CA, and Chris (Deanne) Schafer of Gilbert, AZ; grandchildren, Kristin (Ryan) Woodward, Sarah Hall, Zach Hall, Zane (Shana) Hall, Jesse (Meagan) Kruse, Elizabeth Schafer, Alexander Schafer, and Karri (Tim) Taggart; great-grandchildren, Elliana and Melia Woodward, Logan, Mylah, Bryac, and Zylas Hall, Zion Kruse, David Asher Kruse, and Victory and Oaks Kruse; along with other extended family members.
