OMAHA, Neb. — As the Huskers return to Memorial Stadium for the first home game of the season, the Nebraska State Patrol urges fans to have a safe game plan for Husker Saturdays this year.
Tuesday, Colonel Bryan Waugh will kick off a statewide campaign to promote safe travel for Husker homes games. The event will take place at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 2, at the NSP Troop A Office, at 4411 S. 108th Street in Omaha. Media are invited to attend the event.
The campaign will involve troopers from around the state, culminating in the delivery of the Huskers’ game ball to Memorial Stadium ahead of Saturday’s game against Akron.
