In Box Butte County District Court Wednesday, Judge Travis P. O'Gorman issued sentencing in the case of Nebraska vs. Jacob Zier, 34, of Alliance. Zier, who attended the sentencing via video conference, burglarized the Alliance Mission Store on September 13, 2024.
Judge O'Gorman sentenced Zier on one count of attempted burglary, a Class 3-A felony, to 364 days in the Box Butte County Jail, minus 142 days previously served.
Following his release, Zier will be subject to nine months of post-release supervision.
