10 killed on Nebraska roadways in March

Lincoln — During the month of March, ten people were killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways, according to data collected by the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

- These 10 fatalities occurred in 9 fatal crashes.
- Three of the seven vehicle occupants killed were not using seatbelts, one was using seatbelt, and three had seatbelt usage marked as unknown.
- *Six of the fatalities were in rural locations.
- There were zero fatalities on the interstate, eight on other highways, and two on local roads.
- One of the fatalities was a pedestrian.
- Two of the fatalities were motorcyclists.
-There were 10 fatalities in March of 2020.
-Only 10 of the 40 vehicle occupants killed during 2021 were using seatbelts
