With the holiday shopping season upon us, the City of Alliance encourages the public to shop at local businesses, and one of those businesses is the Butte Bakery located downtown.

The Butte Bakery moved to its downtown location in June of this year and owner Whitney Baldwin talks about how their move to the location has been.

“It’s been really good, we were in the American Family Insurance Office, and we were mostly just grab-and-go, and now I tell people that we grew up to a ‘big girl’ bakery,” Baldwin said.  “We have display cases, individual items, take-and-bake and, charcuterie and we’ve added quite a few vendors.”

Baldwin says the best thing about the Butte Bakery is that their goods are locally made, and that every week they have anywhere between 3-8 local vendors to provide everything from fresh fried flour chips, fresh tortillas, eclairs, sugar cookies and more.
