Aspiring and current business owners throughout the county are encouraged to submit their applications for the chance to win up to $10,000 in cash awards, professional mentoring, and community recognition.

The competition—powered by a $40,000 grant from the Schmidt Foundation, Eagle Media, Hemingford Community Foundation, and Box Butte Development Corporation—aims to support business innovation and economic growth across the region.

Finalists will present their ideas at a live pitch event on October 1 at the West Side Event Center in Alliance, where a panel of judges will award a total of $17,500 in prize money. Winners will also gain access to mentorship from the Nebraska Business Development Center and local business leaders.
