Aspen Contracting, based in Missouri, has over twenty locations across the country. General Manager Michael Jansen Jr. and Project Consultant Jesse Milch spoke to Panhandle Post earlier this week. With regard to the major storm, Jansen said "This is definitely one for the record books."
A large part of restoration work involves working with insurance companies. Jansen says each insurance company has different standards and policies. "They all have different ways...you just have to adapt to each one, figure it out, move forward and get the home put back to pre-storm condition as soon as possible."
Aspen Contracting has a team of ten individuals working in the Alliance area, and the process begins with a close inspection of damage including photos. Milich notes, "A catastrophic storm can put an intense amount of additional stress on homeowners. It adds a layer of life that most people aren't prepared to deal with. That's one of the primary reasons I do this job...taking the burden off of them...listening to their pains, their concerns."
Jansen notes that the Aspen team is willing to spend extra time with cuustomers explaining the process, outlining an estimatr and answering questions.
