Patsy J Bourne (1941 - 2021)

Patsy J Bourne of Rushville, Nebraska passed away on May 2, 2021 at Gordon Memorial Hospital.

            Memorial services will be held graveside on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at 10am at Community Extension Cemetery north of Rushville followed by a luncheon at the Legion in Rushville at 11:30. All are welcome to attend.

            Pat Bourne was born to Ruth and Bill Musfelt of Rushville, Nebraska on May 9, 1941.  She went to school in Rushville and completed in 1960.  She married Maurice Reeves and had 4 children, Ronda, Valerie, Ed, and Wayne.  Pat later married Dee Huls and had her daughter Shelly.  In 1987 she married Bernard (Pee Wee) Bourne and acquired many stepchildren and grandchildren.  

           Pat owned and operated the Fireside Drive inn in Whiteclay, Nebraska for over 14 years and then the Home Café in Rushville for 2 years until she officially retired.  Pat was known for being an excellent cook, a supreme bowler, a loving dog owner and having the ability to hold 9 conversations at the same time.  She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary and donated to many charities including St Judes, Wounded Warrior, Legion Auxiliary and many more.  Pat was a member of numerous bowling leagues and would like to be remembered as a fun person to be around.

          Pat is preceded in death by her sister Vicki Musfelt, her brother Larry Musfelt, her husband Pee Wee Bourne, and her parents.

          Pat is survived by her children Ronda Reeves-Hillberg and her husband Dan, Valerie Reeves, Ed Reeves and his wife Tonya, Wayne Reeves and his wife Leslie, Shelly Knapp and her husband Dale, her sister Carol Reitz, her Grandchildren Daniel Jr. and Nick Hillberg, DJ, Chris and Andrew Rouse, Bridget Cline, Jordan Andrews, Journey, Lexi and Mya Reeves, Joeseph, Suraiya, Shayla, Brittany, Brandon and Cherish Reeves, Damian and Dillion Holeman, Jasmine Brinkman, Parker, Olivia, Avy, and Bristol Knapp, and numerous great-Grandchildren along with wonderful loving nieces and nephews and her dogs Mandy, Titi and Izzy.

        Memorials may be sent in care of Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343 The family welcomes donations to St Jude’s as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.
