On June 7 at approximately 2:30 p.m. the Dawes County Sheriff's Oiffice and Dawes County Attorney/Coroner Vance Haug were dispatched to Crawford to investigate the unattended death of 80-year-old Terry Steinacher.
Steinacher was found unresponsive by friends in his home.
"After review of the scene, evidence at the scene, witness interviews, review of medical records and consoltation with medical professionals, it was determined that Mr. Steinacher died of natural causes," Dawes County Attorney/Coroner Vance Haug said.
