Scottsbluff, Neb. — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol, Scottsbluff Police Department, Gering Police Department, and Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office conducted alcohol compliance checks in Scotts Bluff County last weekend.
In total, 83 businesses were checked. One of the businesses sold alcohol to a minor. The checks throughout the county had a 99% compliance rate.

Businesses that sell alcohol to a minor are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
