Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance recently got their first distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.&nbsp;

One of the first Moderna vaccine recipients at Box Butte General Hospital was Laboratory Medical Technologist Marina Girard.&nbsp;

Girard has worked for BBGH for the past 35 year.&nbsp;

"Even though the vaccine is not available to the general public yet, BBGH hopes to be able to meet that need in the coming months," said&nbsp;Shae Brennan,&nbsp;Promotion Specialist.&nbsp;

BBGH encourages the public to continue practicing social distancing, wearing a mask, and washing hands frequently as well as following Panhandle Public Health District’s guidelines.
