Linda Pierce, age 72, passed away June 27th, 2020 in Ogallala, Ne while visiting family. She was born to Milford and Alice (Hammer) Pierce on May 11, 1948. She was one of 17 children. Linda really enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandkids. She loved watching Thomas the Train, Paw Patrol and any other cartoons they liked to watch. She also enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel Christmas movies all year round. She loved cooking the best big family breakfast. Her other favorite hobbies were going to Bingo and casinos with her friends and family. She loved to argue with us about every little thing but always had a way to make us laugh. She will be dearly missed for her antics and her unbelievable cooking.
Linda is survived by her children Marina Finkey, Gelinda Halle, Mike Sorenson (all of Alliance), and Wayne Sorenson of Aberdeen SD and step daughter Carol Bussinger; her grandchildren Jeff (Shauna) Halle, Cody (Jon) Halle, Brittney (John) Hirt, Gregory Buethe, Tony Buethe, Amanda (Chris) Needham, Skylar (Bailey) Sorenson, Chelsea (Melissa) Sorenson, and Talin Sorenson; great grandchildren Skylar, Gracie, John, and Serenity; her siblings Howard, Eugene, Melvin, Terry, David, Jerry, Charlotte, Marilyn and Jackie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milford and Alice; brothers Ronald and Harold; sisters Sherry, Wanda, Betty, Christy, and Maradeen and also her son-in-law, Greg Buethe SR.
Due to Covid-19, only immediate family members will be invited to attend services. Draucker funeral home in Ogallala is in charge of arrangements.
