As of 10 a.m. on 6/20/24 SWANN (Solid Waste Agency of Northwest Nebraska) has met their tonnage goal of 175 Tons. Bonus time/days are now over as of 10 a.m. today.
Effective immediately, regular charges for tire disposal will again be reinstated at the SWANN Transfer stations
SWANN thanks all 3 counties and its customers for their participation in Tire Amnesty days. SWANN reports that the customers were polite and understanding of the entire process this year and their agency cannot thank everyone enough. SWANN looks forward to another opportunity to offer this program grant again for customers within its service area.
