Winter weather and high winds advisories remain in effect for the Panhandle of Nebraska, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, Wyo., reported.
Northwest winds are expected to be sustained from 35 to 45 mph, with gusts up to 70 mph possible. The high wind advisory remains in effect until 11 a.m. Friday.
Strong winds and widespread blowing snow will lead to poor visibility, as low as a half-mile.
