The City of Chadron is pleased to announce the soft opening of new pickleball courts in Memorial
Park, providing residents and visitors with an exciting new recreational amenity that promotes
active lifestyles, community engagement, and fun for all ages.
The new pickleball courts are designed to accommodate players of all skill levels, from beginners
learning the game to experienced competitors. The project reflects the city’s ongoing commitment
to enhancing recreational opportunities and improving quality of life for the Chadron Community.
“We are excited to welcome players to these new pickleball courts,” said City Manager Tom Menke. “Pickleball has become one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, and these courts will provide a wonderful place for residents and visitors to stay active, connect with others, and enjoy our parks.”
The development of the courts was made possible by support from community partners, local organizations, Nebraska Game and Parks, and dedicated residents who recognized the growing demand for pickleball facilities in Chadron.
The city encourages everyone to come out, enjoy the new courts, and experience the benefits of this popular and accessible sport.
