In Remembrance of Gordon Douglas Lacy, 84, who died comfortably at his home in Gering on Friday, May 31, 2024.
Gordon was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on February 26, 1940 to Allen Clair and Ima Eleanor (Rich) Lacy. He was educated in Scotts Bluff County schools, graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1958 and attended 2 years at Scottsbluff Junior College.
He worked several years at US Supply Co. and married Leila Kay Keller in 1961 and had their son Tim in 1962. They later divorced in 1970.
Gordon joined the team at Independent Plumbing & Heating in 1985, where he worked until retirement as a Journeyman Plumber and Water well Service Tech.
He married Cynthia Hyano in 1982 and had their son Douglas. They later divorced in 1986. In 2004, he married Karol Ann Blake.
Gordon was preceded in death by his father Allen, mother Ima, brothers Robert and Harvey, sister Claudia and 3rd wife Karol.
Survivors include his brother Gene and sons Timothy and Douglas.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 10:30 am at the Scottsbluff Seventh Day Adventist Church with Richard Teller officiating. Gordon will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park following the services.
