The Alliance Police Department announces the sentencing of Toofeathers Bueno following a criminal investigation involving child exploitation offenses.
On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, Bueno was sentenced in Box Butte County District Court for multiple felony convictions. Specifically, Bueno was sentenced to 14 to 18 years of incarceration for three counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material, along with an additional 3 years of incarceration for one count of Third Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. As part of the sentence, Bueno will also be required to register as a sex offender.
The investigation was conducted by the Alliance Police Department, with digital forensic analysis playing a significant role in the case. Evidence obtained through the forensic examination of electronic devices was instrumental in establishing probable cause and supporting successful prosecution.
