At the recent American Legion Post 7 meeting on April 6, Carol Bauer was the recipient of the American Legion Post 7 2021 Eagle Award.
Bauer was awarded this for her outstanding dedication and tireless service to military veterans.
Bauer is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 7 and currently serves at the Chaplain for the American Legion Riders Chapter 43.
"She participates in the flag line at our military veteran's funerals and is an active member of the Panhandle Blocks Chapter of the Quilts of Valor Group, not only as a quilter, but travels the Panhandle to participate in the presentation of those quilts," American Legion Post 7 Commander Steve Stanec said. "Carol also serves the Administrative Secretary for the Veterans State Cemetery at Alliance Foundation."
