Weather permitting, work will resume Monday on N-97, from reference post 56+87 to reference post 66+96, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Paulsen Inc. of Cozad is the contractor for this project. Work includes constructing asphaltic curb, concrete flumes, earth shoulder construction, erosion control, and seeding.
In Mullen, the asphalt surfacing will be removed and replaced from the junction of N-97 and N-2 to the south for approximately 1,200 feet. Traffic will be maintained with lane closures, a pilot car, and flaggers. A 10-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is May 2023.
