ALLIANCE, Neb. – The Knight Museum and Sandhills Center will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.
Although the museum building will be closed for the holiday, Museum staff and volunteers will be available throughout Memorial Day Weekend and on Memorial Day, at the Alliance Cemetery, to assist patrons in locating loved ones’ graves and answering questions related to Cemetery locations and records.
In addition, the Museum will offer Grave Witching demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m., with additional demonstrations potentially available upon request throughout the weekend.
The Knight Museum and Sandhills Center encourages community members and visitors to stop by the Cemetery for assistance, historical information and educational demonstrations as the community honors and remembers those who have served.
