MAXWELL, Neb.-The driver of a concrete truck was transported to the hospital following a single-vehicle accident on US Highway 30 near Maxwell.
The accident happened at around 10:20 am on Tuesday.
Seargent Dan Newton with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said the driver was traveling eastbound when he failed to negotiate the turn at Highway 30 and Old Highway 30.
The driver was trapped in the vehicle for about an hour before being removed and transported to Great Plains Health in North Platte via Great Plains Health LifeNet helicopter.
The driver's injuries are unknown at this time.
The accident closed a portion of Highway 30 for about an hour.
North Platte Fire and Rescue, Maxwell Fire and Rescue and the Lincoln County Sheriff's responded to the scene.
