East central Sioux County in the Panhandle of Nebraska... * Until 615 PM MDT. * At 547 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 11 miles west of Box Butte Campground, or 30 miles southwest of Chadron, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Box Butte, southwestern Dawes and east central Sioux Counties, including the following locations...
