Flowers or any other items remaining outside of the concrete marker base need to be picked up by Thursday evening on June 2 at Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron. Anything remaining outside of the marker base will be disposed of by cemetery personnel on Friday morning, June 3.
If you anticipate you will not be able to return in this time period and would like your arrangement saved for an additional seven days (ten days total following Memorial Day), flower tags will be available at the Greenwood Cemetery sexton’s building. You may write your name on the back of the tag and attach it to your arrangement. All arrangements with tags will be stored alongside the shop building for one week for you to pick up.
