LINCOLN, Neb. – The 2025 Lincoln Corporate Games Canned Food Drive concluded with impressive results, as 32 companies donated a total of 18,569 pounds of food to support the Food Bank of Lincoln in their mission to alleviate hunger in Lincoln and surrounding communities. These generous contributions — nearly 2,000 pounds more than last year — will provide an estimated 14,100 meals for families across Southeast Nebraska.
Division Winners:
- Red Division: Reliant Transportation – 778 lbs
- Orange Division: Norland International/ABE Equipment – 2,494 lbs
- Blue Division: Midlands Packaging Corporation – 1,216 lbs
- Green Division: Zoetis – 716 lbs
“We are thrilled with the overwhelming response from our Lincoln Corporate Games participants," said Dave Mlnarik, President of the Nebraska Sports Council. "The generosity of these companies reflects the strong community spirit in Lincoln, and with Omaha Steaks’ matching pledge, the impact of these donations is even greater. Jason Pauling, Corporate Partnerships Director of the Food Bank of Lincoln, also shared his gratitude: "Thank you to the Nebraska Sports Council, Omaha Steaks, and the Lincoln business community for coming together in a big way to help so many people. These donations will directly help in our mission to alleviate hunger in Southeast Nebraska."
Omaha Steaks once again demonstrated their commitment to fighting hunger by matching every pound donated, up to $10,000. This generous match amplifies the impact of the drive, doubling the support for the Food Bank of Lincoln and helping even more families in need.
