Veryl R. Dannar went peacefully to be with the Lord on January 1, 2021. He was born March 16, 1942 in Akorn, Colorado to Connie and Christina (Glendy) Dannar. He married the love of his life, Sharon Osborn on May 9, 1961 and to this union was born 2 sons, Randy and Nick.
Veryl worked for Anson and Lee Furman Ranch, the Tamahawk (Iske Family) and Carl Wilkins around Marsland for many years and then moved his family to Hemingford and began working for the Box Butte Co. Road Department. He became the Road Superintendent for several years before going back to doing what he loved, “just maintaining the roads.” He loved his family very much and enjoyed going gambling as often as he could.
Veryl was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Earl, Hazel, Harry, Connie Jr., Pearl, Velma; his wife Sharon and his son Randy. He is survived by his son Nick (Tammy); daughter-in-law Lori; grandkids Mandy (Kyle) Brice; Ryan (Katie) Dannar; great grandchildren Randie and Aiden Brice; Branson, Declan, Quinn Dannar, many nieces and nephews and friends.
He will be deeply missed, but we know he is enjoying the reunion in Heaven and will be watching over us all. Cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will be Thursday at 2 pm . He requested no services, only for each of us to live life to the fullest. Donations may be made in care of the family to the Hemingford Volunteer Fire Department or Donor’s Choice and mailed to P.O. Box 13; Hemingford, so family may write personal thank-yous.
