Rebbecca L. “Becky” Broeder, 53, died Monday, December 28, 2020 at her home.

Becky was born April 22, 1967 in Alliance, Nebraska to Robert and Eva (Madden) Ditsch.  She graduated from Alliance High School in 1985.  She married Tom Broeder on December 30, 1989 in Alliance.

She went onto bartend at the Iron Horse in Alliance, Toad’s Bar, the American Legion in both Alliance and Hemingford, managed Alfie’s Pub and also worked at the Eagles Club in Alliance.  She worked at Parker for over 17 years, later taking a medical retirement due to illness.

Becky loved motorcycles, as she and Tom attended many Sturgis motorcycle rallies.  She loved to quilt and sew; she enjoyed canning vegetables and was an avid Nebraska Husker and Denver Bronco fan.  She loved spending time outdoors and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Broeder of Alliance; her daughters, Cassondra (Michael) Schreiner of Alliance and Christina Jackson (Nick Butler) of Hot Springs; her mother, Eva Ditsch of Alliance; and her grandchildren, Zora, Lilith, Autumn, Emrys, Gillian and Garron.  She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy Rau of Jacksonville, FL, Barb Rau of Alliance, Mary (Mike) Sherlock of Ogallala and Betsy (Tim) Krebs of Alliance; and her brother, Pete (Carol) Ditsch of Alliance.  She was preceded in death by her father, her daughter Trista and her brothers, Robert, Tom, Bill and Ed Ditsch.

Visitation will be held at the Bates-Gould Funeral Home on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Cremation will follow the visitation.  Inurnment will be in the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery at Alliance at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Becky’s name may be sent in care of Consumers Cooperative Federal Credit Union, 217 Toluca Avenue, Alliance, Nebraska, 69301.
