Location:
Clark N. Williams Building on the Scottsbluff Campus.
The community gardens will be on the west side of the Williams Building.
Background:
Western Nebraska Community College's Student Life, Cougar Strides Wellness Program, and Cougars on the Move are teaming up to bring a community garden to the Scottsbluff Campus. The garden will be open to students, staff, and faculty, with a variety of produce.
A team of volunteers will build the raised garden beds on Thursday, May 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Volunteers will then plant the garden on Wednesday, June 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
