A petition has made against Dawes County Commissioner Vic Rivera to step down for alleged misconduct in different areas.
The petitioner is Taylor Wohlers of Crawford, and his recall petition of Rivera is for alleged interference with relationships with former and current employees, dereliction of duties and mismanagement of operations.
There is a deadline of August 3rd for Rivera to either issue and submit a statement to defend himself or resign. This is a developing story and Panhandle Post will have additional details when they become available.
