Johnny Glen Mundt, 85 of Alliance, Nebraska passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 in Bridgeport, Nebraska.
His memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Alliance Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com.
Johnny was born on September 22, 1936 in Alliance, Nebraska to Albert and Ella (Lance) Mundt. He attended school in Alliance, graduating from Alliance High School.
He married Marci in 1962 and made their home on the family farm. They had four children Deborah, Brad, Kari and Cory. They were all raised on the family farm west of Berea. After Marci passed in 1989, Johnny and his son Cory moved to Alliance. He loved to be out doors, hunting, fishing, and farming. He loved to go for daily walks. He always loved to be around all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was always working and loved each of his jobs. Many times he would hold two to three jobs at a time. He loved taking the grandchildren out to the farm job to go riding in the tractors with him.
He worked for many farmers also worked for cleaning the railroad and also working for Keep Alliance Beautiful. Even with the many jobs he was working, he always found time for all the grandchildren. Anytime you would see him, he would always be talking to someone catching up with them.
Survivors include his brother Alvin Mundt; children Debora and Robyn Hall-Mundt, Kari and John Rebillet and Cory Mundt; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His was preceded in death by his wife Marci, son Brad and numerous brothers and sisters.
