Teresa Eileen Behm, 76, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at her home in Alliance with her family by her side.
Teresa was born on September 2, 1943 in Alliance to Joseph and Mary (Curran) Gasseling of Hemingford. She graduated from Hemingford High School in 1961.
On January 23, 1965 she was united in marriage to Dennis L. Behm at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Alliance.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis, her daughters, Susan (Timothy) Boland of Corpus Christi, TX and Rita Campos of Alliance and her grandchildren, Erin (Steven) Polasek, Matthew Boland, Andrew Boland, Nicholas Campos and Jacob Campos and her great-granddaughter, Marybeth Polasek. She is also survived by her brother, Butch (Carol) Gasseling of Lincoln and Mary (Richard) Menuey of Carlsbad, NM along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, brothers, Paul, Bill, David, Ed and Dennis Gasseling and her son-in-law, James Campos preceded her in death.
Teresa was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was previously active in Altar Society.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Tim Stoner officiating. Burial will be in the Hemingford Cemetery. A wake service will be Thursday, August 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church.
