ALLIANCE, Neb. — The Box Butte Travel Baseball Association will host a Fun Day on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Sudman Fields in Alliance, featuring an afternoon and evening of activities, food and live entertainment for the entire family.
The event will run from 4 to 10 p.m., with proceeds benefiting Box Butte Travel Baseball teams.
Activities planned throughout the day include a new blow-up water slide, Home Run Derby, dunk tank, radar gun, face painting and cotton candy.The Home Run Derby is open to ages 10 through adult for $10 per person. The dunk tank will cost $5 for five throws, while participants can test their throwing speed with the radar gun for $5 for three throws.
Dinner plates will also be available for $10 each.Families looking to enjoy several activities can purchase a family pass for $60 for a family of four, which includes a dinner plate and live music.
The evening will wrap up with live music from Crossbell from 8 to 10 p.m. Tickets for the live music are $10.Organizers invite the community to come out, enjoy an evening of family fun and support the Box Butte Travel Baseball Association.
