A man from Scottsbluff has lost his appeal with the Nebraska Supreme Court for two murders in the 1980's.

Jeff Boppre was sentenced to consecutive life sentences after being found guilty in 1989 of the killings of Richard Valdez and Sharon Condon.

Boppre has continued to proclaim his innocence and in 2021, Boppre was seeking a new trial under the notion that there was newly found evidence.

However, Scotts Bluff County District Court Judge Andrea Miller dismissed the notion on Friday, saying there was no merit to his claims.
