Big Blue Bay will open on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, weather and water conditions permitting.
Season passes for 2024 swimming season are available for purchase on weekdays from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Saturdays from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Sundays from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Season Pass prices are as follows:
Household pass: $150.00
17 and under: $65.00
18 and older: $80.00
Lap Swim Only: $50.00
For the beginning of the season pool hours will be as follows:
DailyNoon – 1:00 p.m. Adult Lap Swim & 5 and under Zero Depth Swim1:00 p.m. to 5: 00 p.m. Open Swim 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Adult Lap Swim & 5 and under Zero Depth Swim
*Please note the policy change, Zero Depth Swim is for 5 and Under swimmers only. This hour will allow time for smaller swimmers to acclimate to the water without excessive traffic and turbulent water.
Swim lesson registrations can be completed through Friday, May 24th at the Knight Museum & Sandhills Center. This deadline allows staff time to finalize rosters. For any inquiries or further information, please don't hesitate to contact the Knight Museum at 762-2384.
