The Carnegie Arts Center is excited to offer a slew of exciting classes for all ages this spring! From collaging to printing and finally painting, there is something for everyone.
The fun kicks off on March 18 th with a family friendly Butterfly Printmaking Class. In this class, participants will learn how to print vibrant butterfly art using gelli plates. The class will go from 3:45-4:45 and all ages are welcome but children under the age of 7 MUST be accompanied by an adult. The cost will be $15 per participant and covers cost of materials and refreshments. We ask that those interested register by March 14 th .
Celebrate the spring equinox with a fun collage workshop on March 20 th from 4:30-6:30 PM! In this workshop, participants will utilize a variety of cutting, tearing, and application techniques to create beautiful tulip art. This class is intended for those 12 and up and will cost $20 per participant. We ask that you register by March 17 th so that we can better prepare!
To kick off our April classes we will be hosting a youth painting class where our beloved gallery cat (Miss Millie) will be the star of the show! “Cat and Canvas with Carnegie” will be April 9 th from 4:15-5:15 and offers kids between the ages of 8-13 the chance to learn how to paint Millie the cat. This fun class costs $10 per student and we ask that those interested register by April 4 th .
Finally, the CAC invites to round up your favorite cowfolk and join us at the West Side Event Center for a paint and sip! Join us for an evening of fun and drinks as Bailey walks participants step by step through the process of painting a steer skull with western flair. The cost of this workshop will be $35 and will cover one 16x20 canvas, supplies, and one drink ticket. We ask that those interested register by April 14 th so that the CAC crew can better prepare for the event. No matter which class or workshop you sign up for, the Carnegie crew cannot wait to see all of the creative folks that Alliance and panhandle have to offer!
