Alliance, NE – Become knowledgeable in the methods of propagation at the Alliance Public Library on July 23 at 5:30 p.m. Plant Propagation - How to get more plants from those that you already have, presented by Scotty Minich, will inform you of methods of propagation, ways to propagate your own plants and instruct a hands-on activity resulting in a propagated plant to take with you.
Propagation is a method of growing new plants from parts of an existing plant, such as sections of root, stem, leaf or bud. When propagated correctly and planted in the right conditions, portions of plants are capable of producing roots and become independent plants.
Scott has become skilled in methods of propagation working with an array of plants as an owner of ‘Regina’s House of Plants’.
