Power outage planned along HWY 87 near Rushville, Whiteclay

Nebraska Public Power District will have planned outages next week of varying times for rural customers along highway 87, between Rushville and Whiteclay. The outages are being observed so crews can safely perform maintenance on the powerlines in this area.

There will be outages on Monday, May 22 and Friday, May 26 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. impacting customers in the area between 330th Lane and 610 Road near Rushville to the intersection of Highway 87 and 776th Trail near Whiteclay.

There will be some additional longer outages for two sections of customers within this area. Customers in the area of 330th Lane and 610 Road to 650 Road and Highway 87 will experience an outage from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday May 22, and Tuesday, May 23.

Customers in the area of Scott road and Highway 87 north to the intersection of 776 Trail and Highway 87 will experience an outage from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25.

NPPD will be reaching out by phone to customers who will impacted by an outage.
