A woman has been arrested and is being held in the Box Butte County Jail after an alleged altercation and stabbing in Alliance on Thursday evening.
The incident is still under investigation as names have not been released in the incident, but what is known is that Alliance Police were dispatched to the area of 5th and Potash just before 6 PM on Thursday July 13th where a woman allegedly stabbed a man.
Information from Thursday that the incident may be result of a mental health crisis. Alliance Police Chief Philip Lukens says that the man is in stable conditions and is expected to survive.
