The Dawes Sioux County nine one one center is now back to normal operation.
Please resume calling us at the normal numbers of 911 for emergencies and 308-432-0510
Our administration lines are getting inbound calls from both landlines and cell phones, however we are unable to call out from the station to any cellphone and can only call out locally to landlines.
We are now able to call local landlines, but long distance is not available. We are able to continue outbound calls with Department Cell Phones.
The entire panhandle was affected by this outage that is thought to have been due to an electrical power issue in the Sidney Nebraska phone office.
