Colt (Colton) Russell Frahm passed away at his home in Hemingford on April 2, 2023.
Colt was a lot of things to many people but most of all he was a kind hearted man who loved to have a good time. Colt was a 2007 graduate of Hemingford High. After graduation he moved to Minnesota where he spent one of his best years of life around his Minnesota Family. He moved back home to Hemingford in 2008 where he started work as a plumber, and even though he was very good and knowledgeable at what he did, he claimed that was a “messy” job and decided to go work for the Village of Hemingford in 2017. While employed with the Village, Colt was able to work with one of his best friends (Kyle Huss) every day. He loved being able to spend his day causing a little mischief to the fine people in the community, who often gave it right back. You could find Colt out fishing, working in his shop on multiple derby cars, playing poker with friends, and watching sports with his best friends, his dog Abby, and his “old man”. Colt was always one to enter into a friendly wager especially when it came to the St. Louis Cardinals or the Green Bay Packers. Colt loved passing down his knowledge of many things to his nieces and nephews, even though he knew he would be getting a phone call from his sister when they returned home. You never had to look far or ask twice when you needed help. Colt was always there to lend a hand and never expected anything in return, he was always just happy to help.
Colt is survived by his best companion, Abby, his parents, Russ and Tina Frahm, his sister, Katie and her husband, Ryan Dannar and their children, Branson, Declan, and Quinn, his sister, Kelli Frahm and her children, Myah and William, his grandmother, Mary Frahm and so many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Colt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Armella Wolch and Harold Frahm, and his uncle, Bill Hutchison
In honor of Colt’s wishes there will be a casual Celebration of Life held on Saturday April 8, 2023 at the American Legion in Hemingford at 3 p.m. Feel free to attend wearing your best St. Louis Cardinal or Green Bay Packer attire. Memorials may be sent in care of Russ and Tina Frahm, P.O. Box 461, Hemingford, NE 69348 for a later designation.
