October is American Pharmacists Month and Pharmacist Dave Randolph of Dave’s Pharmacy in Alliance and Hemingford in Box Butte County has been recognized by several national organizations for national awards.
Randolph was recognized as among the top 10 pharmacists in the country among over 300,000 in SingleCare’s fifth annual Best of the Best Pharmacy awards. Randolph says he has been amazed by the community support.
"Honestly, I'm overwhelmed by it," Randolph said. "It's great to be appreciated by anybody, especially when it's your patients that nominate you and help you get the award," Randolph said.
Randolph credits his staff for their role in the recognition, saying that his staff his amazing for all of the work they do.
"I've got a great group of pharmacists, Jada and Amanda who are amazing; my technicians are wonderful in both Hemingford and Alliance, my delivery drivers are great too," Randolph said.
"Can't forget about my manager Mikayla and also my wife Blanch who helps out on the business side and lets me do the things out front that needs to be done."
Randolph was also recognized by the Nebraska Pharmacist’s Association as a recipient of their Bowl of Hygeia Award, which praised his innovative approach and bringing many services like test-to-treat and point of care testing and more.
Randolph has been the Pharmacist and owner of Dave’s Pharmacy for nine years and has 29 years of experience in Pharmacy.
