The combined concert band programs of Chadron State College and the Chadron Public Schools will perform in concert Tuesday, March 19, in Memorial Hall Auditorium. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Opening the concert will be the Chadron 6th Grade Band followed by the 7th and 8th Grade Band. The High School Band will then take the stage. The Chadron School Bands are under the direction of Joe Rischling.
The Chadron State College Wind Symphony will perform under the direction of Dr. John Wojcik. The culminating performance will be the combined CSC Wind Symphony, CSC Community Symphonic Band and the High School Band. This 80-piece ensemble will perform an original composition, From The Bottom, composed by Thomas Hughes, a former member the High School Band and the CSC Wind Symphony.
