Chadron, NE -Celebrated artist Robin Smith brings his mesmerizing still life exhibition to Chadron this December. Hosted at Chadron Open Art, located at 223 Main St., the exhibition runs throughout December, offering gallery hours from Thursday to Saturday, 12-7 PM.
The official launch reception is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, from 5-8 PM. Don't miss the exclusive opportunity to meet the artist during the exhibition preview on Thursday, November 30th, from noon to 4:00 PM, and Friday, December 1st, from noon to 7 PM.
Robin Smith, a prominent figure in the regional art scene, has gained acclaim with his paintings featured in prestigious international collections. Notably, his work graces the Sheldon Museum of Art in Lincoln and the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney. Despite growing up on Cape Cod, Smith has been painting still lifes and landscapes in Nebraska since 1974 and currently resides in Chadron.
While locals may recognize Robin from his tenure as a teacher at Chadron State before retirement or his musical contributions with the Bald Mountain Rounders, this exhibition offers a unique chance to intimately connect with his visual artistry.The gallery invites everyone to the exhibition preview on November 30th and December 1st, as well as the grand reception on December 2nd.
