ALLIANCE, Neb. - The City of Alliance Transit Department is making a change to its morning hours of operation to improve efficiency and continue providing reliable service to the community.
Starting Nov. 17, 2025, The new service hours will be 7 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the final ride request accepted by 4:15 p.m. As usual, pre-scheduled rides to the airport, arranged before noon the day prior, will still be accommodated before 7 a.m., after 4:30 p.m., and on weekends. All other rides will begin after 7 a.m.
"This small adjustment will allow us to align staffing with demand, while continuing to support our early-morning airport travelers," said Megan Smith, Public Transit Director. "We encourage riders to schedule trips in advance whenever possible to ensure availability."
Please note, the Transit Department is currently unable to provide rides for school children.
